Jennifer Finnell

Jennifer is in her 10th year of teaching English and coaching volleyball at Halton High School.  She was an assistant coach at various levels from 2001-2006.  She took over the varsity program in 2006 and led Haltom's return to post season play in 2008 after a nine year absence.  She has coached muliple All District players and currently has players in the NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NJCAA levels.  Along with coaching volleyball at Halton High, she coached club volleyball for Texas Image in 2008 & 2009.  She has completed CAP I Certification from USAV and is IMPACT certified.  Jennifer graduated from Angelo St University where she competed for the ASU track team.  As a high school athlete, Jennifer competed in Volleyball, Basketball and Track.  She has been married to her husband Sean for 7 years

 

Greg Meschell

Greg is a 1998 graduate of Arkansas University, where he majored in Kinesiology and also obtained minors in both mathematics and health education.  Throughout college, he played with a local team and developed a love for the game which later carried over to a life long career teaching the game to kids.  He has worked for the Boys and Girls Club of America for 4 year; Teaching and working with kids of all ages.  He currently is the head volleyball coach at Harpool Middle School in Lantana, where he is currently opening a new school for the Denton School District.  He has been coaching volleyball for a total of 11 years and has coached 2 years at the varsity level and 9 years at the middle school level.  He has led his middle school teams to 3 district Championships in Volleyball.  At the varsity level he helped lead the team to the regional playoffs.  He has coached for Dallas Synergy, Texas Juniors DFW, and Tejas Volleyball Clubs.  He loves working with middle school age kids so that he can help develop the fundamental skills that are essential later on in their volleyball careers.

 

Lee Wisener

 Lee has been playing/coaching volleyball since his sophmore year in high school at Newman Smith in Carrollton, Texas.  His junior year, he and the women's head coach, Teri Johnson, began the men's volleyball club which competed in local/national tournaments his senior year.  Lee also played for Tejas Volleyball Club.  They were the top ranked men's volleyball program in the state, winning numerous tournaments, and eventually competed in the Junior Olympics in 1990.  His team competed very well against powerful competition.

Lee developed his creativity in the sand, winning tournaments in Texas in the early 1990's.  Lee attended UNT and started for the men's club team from 1990-1993.  Lee excelled as an outside hitter as well as setter.  He graduated from UNT in 1994.

Today, Lee enjoys teaching his 3 kids to play.  He is currently coaching several academy teams, as his passion is working with developing younger players.  He loves teaching the game to others so they can develop the same lifelong fulfillment and enjoyment of the game as he has.  In addition, Lee also provides private training for those who are willing to put in the time necessary to excel.

 

Brenda Cox

Brenda is a 1992 graduate of SMU.  She was a starter for the SMU basketball team.   Brenda excelled in volleyball and basketball at the high school and junior college level.  She was All-State in volleyball and basketball her junior and senior years of high school.  In Junior College she was named to the All-region team in volleyball and basketball.  After graduation from SMU, she coached volleyball and basketball at All Saints Epicopal School in Fort Worth.

Today, Brenda and her husband, Dennis,have four daughters that keep them very busy in sporting activities.  She in excited to get back into her passion of coaching volleyball and developing young players as they grow.

 

Renita Davidson 

 Renita attended Arlington High School where she was a three year letterman as a middle blocker.  She won several all-tournament trophies and was MVP of the district her senior year.  She played her club ball for Mid-Cities and continued her career at the University of Kansas as an outside hitter.  At the University of Kansas, she was named to the Dean's List and a Jayhawk Scholar.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and completed her Master's in Education at UNT.  Currently, Renita is working on her Doctorate in Education Administration at UNT and working at Lewisville High School as a special education inclusion teacher in History and English and is the JV and varsity assistant volleyball coach.  She is currently in her 4th year coaching club volleyball.

  

Emily Kasper

 Emily Kasper has recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Kinesiology. She played volleyball for Jennifer Finnell at Haltom High school for four years and club ball for Big Time for 2 years. Emily has coached middle school volleyball for 3 years at Allen Academy down in College Station and helped assist Saginaw High school varsity volleyball team this past season. Emily plans on being a Physical Education teacher and a volleyball club coach.
